Starting SO40's Green Library

We are currently working on putting together our first directory of green businesses, groups and resources for the SO40 area. This list is currently available as a Google Docs Spreadsheet (please take a look and add any resources you know of if you are able). We will be doing further research, formatting and publishing this directory onto this blog very soon.
There are already some great directories available in our surrounding areas, with the main one being on The Southampton Climate Action Network. There are also some great resources for the Waterside to be found on the New Forest Aquaponics website (home to Waterside Food Project, Repair Cafe, Clothes Swaps and more), and resources for the Brockenhurst area on the Greener Brockenhurst website.
Write for us!
We are also looking for local people to write about their journeys with going green. Whether that's getting your house energy efficient, learning how to compost or grow your own, making your garden more drought or flood resilient, learning how to repair or upcycle, starting wildlife areas to support biodiversity, journeys with food and cooking, or ethical shopping, or anything else you can think of!
We want to celebrate your journey, make it visible to the community, and create maps for other people to find their way more easily.
To tell us about your journey, pitch an idea, or send us your writing please send Amy an email at amyhardingson@gmail.com , and we'll be in touch.
